Apoears his lays are in need of replacing not going in ground very well. Maybe to dry also i guess
Remember when i was a kid dad would take the lays to a black smith he would form a point on the leading edge of the lays to help it penetrate hard soils.
It ain't hard to go that fast when you are barely scratching and ground.
